Puliima Workshops 2023

 

This year’s Puliima was a long awaited one after covid!

The Living Languages team had the pleasure to present two workshops on sharing language immersion teaching ideas and techniques at Puliima Indigenous Language & Technology Conference in Darwin. Our trainers were joined by our wonderful team of guest trainers to bring these immersion techniques to many participants from communities from all around Australia. Simple tools like puppets and pictures can be used in a classroom or beyond to create a thriving and fruitful immersion experience for teachers and learners.  

Many stories and laughs were shared throughout each workshop, and as always it was deadly for our team to see many familiar faces at the conference.
